International Women’s Day Networking Celebration
March 8, 2023
WIPN Oregon hosted their IWD event at The Sport’s Bra, a women-owned sport bar whose mission is to “make great food, delicious drinks, and provide a space that supports, empowers, and promotes girls and women in sports and in the community.” It was fun to enjoy a new restaurant focused on promotion of women and women’s athletics.

Holiday Social | 2022

Several WIPN Oregon members gathered for a wonderful holiday social to close out 2022. Thank you to those in attendance and everyone’s engagement during 2022. Donations of blankets, toiletries and cash were collected to benefit a local women’s shelter, Rose Haven.

Service Project & Happy Hour

WIPN members had a great time repackaging popcorn at Oregon Food Bank (OFB). The time at OFB contributed to repackaging 1,614 lbs. of popcorn into two-pound bags. The bags of kernels are included in food boxes for people in need throughout Oregon. It felt great to spend a few hours together, helping others and relaxing a bit afterwards. Go WIPN service!

WIPN Oregon – Holistic Nutrition for Optimal Wellness featuring Ruthanne Adams

Oregon WIPN started the year off with a healthy topic, learning about holistic nutrition for optimal wellness. We were privileged to view a demonstration of a simple breakfast recipe, overnight oats. Each ingredient was discussed as to how they all play an essential role as fuel for our bodies. We benefited from great discussion with our talented guests, Ruthanne Adams and Tessa Tovar.
