Women in Pensions Network Unveils New Name and Brand:
WIPN — WE Inspire. Promote. Network.

Owatonna, MN – April 22, 2021 – The Women in Pensions Network (WiPN), founded in 2009, has announced a new name and brand. The organization will now be known as WIPN — WE Inspire. Promote. Network. (WIPN). WIPN began the rebranding process in late-2020, with the help of partner Princeton Marketing.

“We embarked on this rebrand because the retirement industry has evolved and so have we. The WIPN of today is focused on providing ‘networking plus’ to our members, including proprietary research, mentoring, and connections that will help drive their careers forward,” said WIPN President Jennifer Norr. “We opted to retain the WIPN name because the brand has become synonymous with empowering women in the retirement industry, and we look forward to continuing to build on this foundation.”

As part of the rebrand, WIPN also unveiled a new mission statement. We:

  • Inspire each other to achieve our professional goals and personal aspirations through a national network of local chapters
  • Promote diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the retirement industry
  • Network to share our knowledge and experience, informed by research

“As we evolved the WIPN brand, it was important to ensure that we were being a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion within our industry by advocating for opportunities for women of color and the LGBTQ+ community,” said Jen Mulrooney, WIPN Marketing Chair.
