A Women in Finance Services 2020 Report recently published by Oliver Wyman points to the progress that’s occurred on gender balance in the workforce, but clearly highlights the under-representation of women on executives boards and committees. The report also addresses another key stakeholder group to which the industry must be accountable – serving women as customers. Both individual firms and the industry as a whole have a responsibility and opportunity to improve gender equality and in society more broadly.
