Carolina ladies,

We’d like to welcome you to kick off our 2023 season with a greenway walk at Lower McAlpine Creek Greenway.

Our sponsor, Brandon Helms of Columbia Threadneedle and Ben Sugarwala of Hartford have kindly offered to sponsor the start of your spring garden with a plant from Pike’s Nursery and a post hike drink.

We will gather in the parking lot at the greenway entrance between 5:15pm and 5:30pm with a plan to start walking at 5:45pm.

This is not an athletic competition 🙂 Dress comfortably and plan to walk 20 minutes out and 20 minutes back. It will be a fun time to get some fresh spring air and mingle with your WIPN friends.

Our walk will be wrapped up by 6:30pm and you’ll select your plant from the ones available.

Anyone interested in an informal beverage afterwards can walk to Hickory Tavern in the same plaza. This will also be our alternate meeting location in case of inclement weather.
