Kara Kidney

Kara Kidney is the Divisional Sales Manager – West Division at Lincoln Financial as of December 2024 where she leads the west division retirement sales team.

Prior to Kara joining Lincon, Kara was with OneAmerica for 15 years joining the firm in 2009 and most recently served as the west region regional vice president leading the sales team.

She started her career in 2003 at Strong Investments in Milwaukee, WI which was acquired by Wells Fargo Advantage Funds. In 2008 she made to the move to Los Angeles where she was at Principal Financial as an education specialist prior to joining OneAmerica.

Kara graduated college at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 2002 with a BBA in Finance.

Kara became a WIPN member in 2015 and joined the regional leadership committee in 2021 and joined as a board member in 2024.  In her spare time she enjoys playing beach volleyball, spending time with friends, traveling the world and managing her fantasy football team and cheering on her Green Bay Packers. She resides in San Diego and is also an active member of the Southern California WIPN chapter.
