The new Sacramento chapter of WIPN got together for their first networking event on September 28th. Current members, potential new members and industry colleagues gathered to discuss their current practices and experiences, all while creating their own DIY woodworking project to bring home – special thanks to Board & Brush Roseville! There was paint, wood stain, and hammering – accompanied by laughter and great conversation with industry peers. Thank you to all those that attended – we can’t wait to see you at our next event! Local retirement industry leaders gathered together on May 20th, just outside of the Capitol, for a kick-off celebration of the new Sacramento Chapter of WIPN. Led by Kari Lusby of Voya and Tine White of Franklin Templeton, the ladies put on an incredible event with drinks, food, games and raffles to help break the ice and acquaint new faces. With both current members and potential new members present – some driving in from over three hours away – the event was a complete success! The Sacramento Chapter is in the planning stages of future local meet ups and a gathering at the NAPA Conference in Las Vegas– stay tuned for updates!
