WIPN DE&I National Webinar: Women with Invisible Disabilities in the Workplace

March 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

Invisible Disabilities (IDs) are conditions such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and mental health that may not be visibly apparent. What is the impact of women hiding IDs on their career, work and ability for professional growth? These are crucial conversations to have to develop new methods of talking about disability and diversity in an ever-evolving workspace.

Join WIPN’s Head of DE&I and host Lisa Anderson and DEI Specialist and Co-founder of The Rise JourneyJes Osrow as she shares her research and discusses the impact of women hiding IDs.  Learn what attracts or pushes women away from organizations, and how to cultivate safe environments for women with IDs, so all women can feel supported and thrive in the workplace.

Jes Osrow, SHRM-SCP, PAHR (She/Her) has a goal of creating fundamental change in people operations. As Co-Founder and Fractional Head of DEI at The Rise Journey, she operationalizes DEIBA™ (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility) strategies as part of building foundational and sustainable organizational culture. She works to empower inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplaces for all employees.

Jes coined the term DEIBA™ in 2019 after recognizing DEI alone was not enough. She officially trademarked the term in September 2021. She has been named to Mogul’s Top Leaders in DEI list in 2021 and 2022.
