Ms. Smith has over 25 years of experience at Fidelity and is responsible for the development and management of strategic retirement alliances with intermediary financial service firms.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Smith was responsible for new product development and marketing for the Fidelity Advisor 401(k) program. Under her management from 2003 through 2008, an industry-leading participant education program was launched and available investment options were expanded. These and other program enhancements grew the number of funded plans and assets, and increased the number of advisors selling the program.
Before joining FIAM® , Ms. Smith was the head of communication and education for Fidelity’s Retirement Services Company’s (FIRSCO) Large Plan Services unit, which provides total benefits outsourcing to Fortune 500 companies. In this role she was responsible for employee education for plan sponsors clients’ defined contribution, pension, health and welfare, and HR/Payroll plans.
Ms. Smith holds a bachelor of science degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 26 and 63 registrations.
